Raymond Lam’s First Mandarin Album, titled First, is expected to be released on 4 March 2011! 😀 YAY! hehe I always look forward to his releases! While I mostly listen to his Cantonese songs, I like to listen to this mandarin variations too XD I love his voice and hope he can do well in his Music career by branching out and tapping into other markets. I obviously want to see more of him on TV, but if singing is one of his dreams, I shall support him all the way! Go Lam Fung! XD The album is available for preorder @ YesAsia.com.

Excerpt from Yesasia.com:

There were controversies – unfounded, some would say – when Raymond Lam was awarded “The Most Popular Hong Kong Male Singer in the Asia Pacific Region” two years in a row on TVB’s Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Music Awards. Now the hot-as-hell Hong Kong singer/actor is out to prove a point with the release of his long-awaited first Mandarin album. Aptly titled First, the album is a collection of 10 new songs tailor-made to Raymond’s magnetic voice. The heartfelt ballad “Let Me Love You For An Hour” comes to be the first plug and is followed by the up-tempo number “One More Time”. Some of Raymond’s biggest Cantonese hits are also adapted into Mandarin here, such as “Another Way To Love You” and “Love Searching For You In Memories”.

i’m excited for this album too!! 😀 i’m just a bit disappointed that almost half of the songs are just mandarin versions of his old songs hahah, but i guess having a whole new mandarin album takes a lot of work. can’t wait for the release!! 😀

i cant wait to get my hands on it

quite disappointed coz most of it are recycled songs…should have been better or at least more songs to cover the fact that the album producers are taking shortcuts….

I understand your point but like no one can come up with new hit songs so quickly and put them in an album. They need to publish their albums faster because they know that their fans are waiting for it.
